The total prize money from three dunk contest wins amounted to $310,000 for McClung. This achievement is particularly noteworthy when compared to his overall earnings in the National Basketball Association, which total approximately $132,000. Thus, his success in exhibition competitions has brought him more than double the benefit compared to regular league performances.
