The Polk County police accused the 39-year-old player of organizing a large-scale illegal gambling operation

Promising 18-year-old center Aleksa Dimitrijevic has decided to continue his basketball development in the USA. The tall player, standing at 213 centimeters, will soon become part of one of the prestigious American university programs – Michigan, Creighton or Illinois.

Despite being part of Partizan’s main roster and even debuting in a Radivoj Korac Cup match, he was unable to secure enough playing time. The team already features experienced centers such as Tyrick Jones, Brandon Davies and Balša Koprivica, which prompted Aleksa to decide to go to the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the United States.

Last summer, Aleksa successfully played for the Serbian youth team (U18), where he established himself as a promising player. His statistics included double-digit points, a significant number of rebounds and blocks. On February 19, fans will be able to watch his games as part of the college competitions in America.
